Taz
Taz was the mischief-maker of the trio
Cuddly when he wanted to be but into his own thing most of the time
He didn't pass the test to go to be trained by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and so was re-homed as a pet.

Toby
Toby was the only rough coated one of the three
He very nearly made it through the initial tests but he needed to have a healthy interest in what was presented to him and was a little too scared of the squeezer.

Poppet
Poppet passed the test to train as a Hearing Dog for Deaf People
I was so proud of him as he was the first of my foster dogs to be accepted.
However a few months later although there was nothing specifically wrong they did not feel that he was going to make-the-grade so he came back to me until he finds his forever home.
He's was a little terrier x (14" to the shoulder) and such a good boy. He came back knowing all the basic commands, was fully house-trained and walked beautifully on a lead. Mind you his recall still left a lot to be desired. His only downfall was cats ... he chased and played far too rough if he caught them .
This little 9mth old, tiny terrier cuddle-moster didn't have to wait long as we had a family that were already checked who were waiting for a little dog to become available. He went off, tucked under the little girls cardigan (because it was raining and they didn't have a coat for him yet) to have a great life in the countryside.
