Fostering
West Yorkshire Dog Rescue does not have any kennels.
Fosters are the lifeline for the dogs ...
"Fostering demands a lot of time and patience but is very rewarding."
Why I decide to do it ...
I started by offering to look after young pups because I had the time to devote to them as I was a student and spent a lot of time working at home but it kind of expanded to me taking abuse and neglect cases and then dogs with disabilities, especially deaf and blind collies.
WYDR was awarded charity status in 2009 and I was honored to serve as an operational committee member until I moved to Scotland.
