Anyone for a cuddle?
One of the 'J' Pups from 2012 Anyone for a cuddle? I had to fight to make sure they were given a chance to live as even the vet was of the opinion they would never have any quality of life.

As the saying goes ... We have been having a bit of time-out from fostering to allow our pack to be a family on their own. This year Ali-Katz is heading towards the end of the terrible-two's stage at the end of the year, but is hell-bent on making the most of it until then. To be honest I'm not at all sure she will ever be anything but a problem child ... watch this space on that one. She still has behavioural issues which are more centered around desperately wanting to be part of the pack and not really knowing how. She is still devoted to Berezi which is nice because after losing her sight and already being deaf she now relies on her more and more. Ali's natural instincts to round things up means that Berezi can still run off lead, something she loves to do ... if she strays too far Ali automatically brings her back. Kali though is going down hill fast, the aging process is not being too kind to her, but she is in no pain and still loves life so we just cherish every moment. As to the rest ... Kashi is now 4yrs old and although he has his moments he's mostly outgrown his nickname of Thug, but that doesn't stop the collie pounce when he feels you are in the wrong - lol. He has also developed an uncanny knack of knowing when there is food in the offing, his nose if second to none. Little Miz-mouse is our little star, she will fuss about her pack and her humans when she knows they are not well, and she often knows before anyone else which is quite spooky at times. As to rescue work while not fostering I have turned my attention to fund-raising ... doing competitions, donations for auctions and anything else I can think of, including donating holidays at the caravan as raffle prizes. Not the most lucrative of activities I know but to pinch a well known supermarket phrase ... every little helps:)
