She is the ultimate daddy's-girl and sees it as her duty to protect him from the monster that is the hoover and berates everyone should he sneeze as if it is their fault (we think some of the litter died when she was in the barn which is linked to the sneezing).
However, as to me she couldn't care less really. Don't get me wrong she obviously loves me but not as much as she loves her dad.
Bonfire week Colin was away and although I was prepared for a very disgruntled little girl she just settled with the others in the front room and although it was clear she was not happy with the bangs it was nowhere close to the trauma of past years.
She obviously picks up on the concern Colin has for her and kind of lives up to his expectations of her being frightened. I how every am very matter-of-fact about most things and so she picked up on this and was fine.
So we know what to do next year ... danish Colin ;-)
