Miz-mouse is now glued to Kashi's side, even sleeping with him at night. He had a fit, this is not something that is a surprise us as most of his siblings from various litters suffer from them but for a first one this was quite bad. If we'd not been so wrapped-up in losing our eldest girlie we would have noticed the signs ... well we like to think we would.
He was grumpy more than usual, off his food and snappy with the rest of the gang, then he'd quite often just take himself upstairs to sleep away from everyone else. Teija was the same just before she had her first seizure.
It is now a waiting game to see if it was a one-off.
Everyone here is still just gradually settling down to the fact that we no longer have Kali.
Still here ...
You caught me out today
You showed that you’re still here
I wasn’t quite expecting you to stay so very near
You’re greeted by the others
Though all I see is space
They know more than I
That you never left this place
You make your lead now tumble
Untouched down to the floor
As we're getting ready
For the walks you all adore
You’ll leave some extra footprints
When the weather is so wet
I still put out your food bowl
I just seem to forget
But you caught me out today
By proving you’re still here
That you never really left me ... I now see that crystal clear
